Are children invited?
Please refer to the RSVP list to see how many we are expecting per household. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to Logan or Mikaela.
Is there a dress code?
We have no preference! Whatever makes you feel more comfortable is fine with us! Bridesmaids will be in a dusty blue, groomsmen and groom will be in jeans, neutral vest with a white collared shirt, and the bride will be in white. Going for a country vibe. Hopefully that helps!
Can I bring a +1?
Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP card.
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "No," so we can plan accordingly.
Can I take pictures?
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking all phones and other devices be put away, and they are all on silent/turned off during our ceremony. This way all guests can be 100% present with us during this special time. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want, and we promise to share our ceremony photos as soon as possible!
Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?
We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us! Please visit our "Where to Stay" tab to see hotels in the area.
Where is the wedding taking place?
The ceremony and the reception will be at the same place! The Barn on the Hill through the Schafer Family is where it will all happen. The address is: 1628 280th St, Adair, IA 50002.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony time. This will allow everyone plenty of time to get situated before the ceremony begins.
How do I RSVP?
Feel free to RSVP on our website or text either Logan or Mikaela if you’re having issues with the website.
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by July 20th, 2024. This gives us ample time to give our vendors a final head count and gives us plenty of time to prepare for a fun night with the people who mean the most to us!
Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?
Indoors! The venue is really nice and has AC, so everything will be inside!
What can I expect from the ceremony and reception?
The ceremony will be in the barn and will last roughly 30 minutes. Following the ceremony, there will be cocktail hour with some snacks provided. Then, the new Mr. & Mrs. will make their grand entrance!
Where can I park?
There is parking on the west side of the barn. If special arrangements need to be made, let us know! There is also an easy spot for pick up/ drop off on the north side of the barn!
