What is the best way to get to the venue from our hotel in hope?
We’ve arranged for a shuttle service to transport our guests to and from the venue. Shuttle pick-up and drop-off locations will be decided based on the hotels where the majority of our guests make reservations.
Is parking available at the venue ?
Yes, In designated areas.

Will you be having a cash bar?
Yes, we will be offering a toonie bar! However, we don’t expect you to walk around with change in your pocket all night, so please bring cash in exchange for drink tickets.
What is the best way to RSVP?
Our invitations will be sent out digitally via Paperless Post, which offers a convenient RSVP option. If possible, we kindly request you soft RSVP through our save-the-dates.
Where can I locate your wedding registry ?
Your support and presence on our big day means the world to us. If you’d like to contribute, we’re grateful for cash gifts to help us build our honey moon fund!
Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outdoors, and the reception will be both indoors and outdoors.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately due to the venue’s capacity we cannot accommodate additional guests. If you received a plus one, your guest’s name will be listed on your invitation along side yours. Otherwise we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close family and friends.
Are kids invited?
We love your little ones! Unfortunately we’ve decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults only event with the exception of immediate family.
What food will be served at the wedding?
We will be hosting a cocktail hour with a grazing table, followed by a buffet-style dinner featuring chicken and steak options, along with a variety of salads and side dishes .
What is the dress code?
We’d love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail or semi-formal attire.
What happens after the ceremony?
After we say “l do”, we’ll kick off the celebration with an outdoor cocktail hour with charcuterie and drinks.
What is the RSVP deadline?
As soon as possible is best! The RSVP deadline is July 14th 2024. If possible Please soft RSVP with your save-the-date.
Can i take photos during the ceremony?
We ask that you please put your phones away during our ceremony. We have an amazing photographer that will be capturing all the love!
Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Both our ceremony and reception will take place at American creek lodge in hope, BC.
What time should i arrive?
Our ceremony will begin at 3:00PM. Please arrive by 2:30PM to allow enough time for parking, if necessary, and to find your seat.

If you plan to stay in Hope on the night of the wedding, please take a look at the travel page of our website, where we’ve provided links to various accommodation options. As our ceremony is scheduled at 3:00PM, please remember to request an early check-in!
When should we book accommodation
If you plan to stay in Hope, please book your accommodation as soon as possible, as we would like to arrange our shuttle service to best suite you.
What if we don’t want to stay in the night in hope?
We understand some of our guests may want to head home at the end of the night. As this is not a dry wedding, please have a safe ride home. A good group option is to consider a limo or a party bus.

If you're using any mapping apps other than google maps it may take you to the wrong place.
Here are the directions incase:
Take highway 1 east to Hope. Take exit 170 the Cache Creek / Prince George exit. Follow the signs for Cache Creek out of Hope. You will start to climb out of Hope, after around 5k you will see Lake of the Woods Motel on the left and the Cariboo Trail Trailer park. Immediately after look for the Gravel Road Entrance - American Creek Forestry Service Road (FSR) on the left side of the highway. ( If it's dark you will see the lights on at the transfer station on the right hand side of the highway. The gravel road is directly opposite and is not easy to see in the dark ! ) Be ready to make a left turn. Follow up American Creek Forestry Service Road and American Creek Lodge is just past the 0.5K marker. The first driveway with gates on the right) The electrical room is at the driveway entrance with 23200 on it. Keep a look out for lights on the right hand side of the forestry road. Ours is the only house on the right. If you get to the 1k marker you have gone to far. Please note that there is also an "American Creek Road" but the lodge is on American Creek Forestry Service Road.
