Brandon and Mikaela first met in high school, where they briefly crossed paths. Although they went to different schools that were about an hour apart, they shared a passion for music. Brandon was particularly impressed by Mikaela’s high school band. Despite being Facebook friends since 2012, they never had a one-on-one conversation. After high school, they went their separate ways, with Mikaela going to college in the Twin Cities and Brandon enrolling in a technical college in central Wisconsin. When the pandemic hit, Mikaela had to move back home, and that’s when they reconnected on Tinder. They soon realized that they were already Facebook friends, and all the old memories came flooding back. They were grateful to have reconnected eight years later.
After two years of dating, Brandon decided to propose to Mikaela at one of her favorite restaurants, Olive Garden. While enjoying a glass of wine, she heard a "clink" and was surprised to find a ring in her glass. Overjoyed, she said yes! Mikaela and Brandon were thrilled to have found each other and were excited about starting their lives together as husband and wife. They knew that their journey would be filled with love, happiness, and adventure.
