Mikala and Wesley met at Olivet. They became friends working at Media Services.

After talking for the first part of the summer after they met, Mikala and Wesley decided to each drive four hours to Cincinnati to watch a baseball game, as friends. Mikala didn't know it, but Wesley had been planning and nervous for weeks to ask Mikala out here. She said yes!

After not seeing each other since the baseball game, Mikala and Wesley were super excited to start the school year together as a couple.

First day of school. Wesley was a sophomore and Mikala was a junior.

After surprising Mikala with a nice sushi picnic dinner in the park, Wesley surprised her even more when he proposed to her. She had no idea it was coming and didn't even know he had bought the ring. She said yes!!
