Our Wedding

We make it to the finish line of 2024 and enter 2025 excited for the next year. Our two year anniversary is on January 7 and I (Mikayla) knew something was about to go down. I was 97% sure Nick was going to pop the question the following weekend so I prepared accordingly: got my nails and eyebrows done &amp; just waited.Who knew a Monday evening would turn into the best day ever? Nick got home later from work that day, but I didn't give it a second thought! I was a girl on a mission running on Diet Coke and a top tier grocery list. We get home from the store and Nick says, "I guess I can give you your Christmas present now" (well aware we are weeks past Christmas). He gifts me a custom book embosser that says, "From the library of Mikayla Crawford-Shure," and as I turned around Nick was kneeling holding a stunning ring. I stood there smiling like an idiot while Nick was still kneeling, I had to ask, "Are you proposing?!" And he simply said, "Oh! Yes, I am." We celebrated as everyone else does: Door Dash :) Now let's get married!
