Our love story all began because we both swiped right. Shoutout to Tinder for the algorithm that brought us together. BUT from there it was the pieces of us that helped us fall in love and make what has already been a whirlwind of memories.

Our first date was on a Friday the 13th in November of 2020. Most people would believe we were doomed because of a superstition and because 2020 was in no way an easy year. However, Friday the 13th became our lucky day and the scary year got easier because of having each other. PLUS, how could such an uneasy day be bad when Dan shared how Friday the 13th’ s are a lucky day in his family. ALSO, it was easy to believe because the date was perfect… right down to Mikayla refusing to take off her face mask (because of her nerves of course).

Our first date was truly an amazing beginning because both of us knew the other was special. We went on dates almost every night until being apart seemed unnatural. It was then and still continues to be a way of life where we support each other’s goals wither it be career goals, travel goals, family goals, and everything in between. That understanding has led to many vacations, career changes, hobbies, and purchasing our home.

Our story is not complete without mentioning our Princess Leia. She is our world. When we first met it was clear that Dan was her dad and Mikayla was a galactic invader. Slowly though Mikayla became Leia’s momma and at times Leia prefers her (probably because Leia knows who feeds her). Never did we dream we would all get lucky enough to find each other.

BUT WAIT there’s more…. There is everyone reading this. Everyone invited to share our special day with us. We want to thank you for loving us and supporting us then, now, and forever. Our wedding day goal is to celebrate and have some fun all together. SO get ready to CELEBRATE!
