It all began in July 2018 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Travis had recently returned from Phoenix, AZ and was preparing to start an internship in New York in a few short weeks. Mikayla and Travis’ individual paths converged at a mutual friend’s house. This casual get-together with high school friends would mark the beginning of their journey. The following night was Mikayla’s friend’s birthday party, and she extended an invitation to Travis to join the celebration. They had such a fun evening and as the night closed, Travis asked Mikayla out on their first official date!

Travis orchestrated the perfect first date, picking up Mikayla with her favorite yellow flowers and taking her to Sundance Square for a delightful Italian dinner. The night continued with dessert in The Square and an exploration of downtown, leaving them both reluctant to part ways. Little did they know that this seemingly one-time date was the beginning of their story.

Fast forward to December 2022: Mikayla graduated from college on December 17th, and the very next day, they left on a family cruise with the McLallens. Upon their return, Travis suggested they reminisce on their earlier days of dating and go for a walk at the park behind Mikayla’s house. As they meandered through their familiar paths, sharing memories, Mikayla looked over to discover Travis on one knee, presenting the most beautiful ring. She immediately said yes!!! The evening of surprises continued as Travis drove Mikayla to Sundance Square, where both of their families awaited in a private room adorned at Del Friscos Grill. It was truly a special and unforgettable day!!

One month later, Travis and Mikayla embarked on a cross-country move to Manchester, New Hampshire. Since then they have been able to explore the beauty of New England. Their decision to exchange vows in Beverly, Massachusetts, seated on the North Shore just north of Boston, feels like the perfect continuation of their journey.

Now, as they stand on the threshold of a new chapter, they are excited for the journey of marriage and creating a lifetime of cherished memories together.
