Q + A

Can I bring a plus 1 and/or my kids?

Yes! Guests are allowed a plus 1, and if you have children, feel free to bring them (just try to ensure they behave well). Please just make sure to indicate all of this on your RSVP so we can keep track and plan accordingly!

How do I find my RSVP?

Go to the RSVP tab and type in the first name that appears on your Save-the-Date! For ease, we only inputted one name per household. Then, when RSVPing, you can add the names of all others attending from your party.

When do I need to RSVP by?

The earlier the better! But please RSVP no later than May 15th.

How should we deliver any gifts?

We have an online registry (Registry tab) where you can ship directly to our house! If you do not want to do that, feel free to bring presents/cards to the reception, as there will be a table to place them.

What do I wear?

For the ceremony, please be business casual or better! As we are in a Catholic church, please no strapless/spaghetti straps, backless, or deep plunging attire (unless with an appropriate covering). Additionally, gowns and pants must be knee-length or longer. Please be modest and appropriate! For the reception, wear whatever you think is comfy, just please be appropriate!

When should I arrive at the ceremony?

Try to arrive by 2:30-2:40 pm to allow time to park and get to seats by 2:50 pm. The ceremony starts at 3 pm, so please do not be late!

What is the parking situation for the ceremony?

The Cathedral has three parking lots. The top lot is reserved for those with mobility issues and is accessed via South St (exact location is 40°25'03.2"N 86°53'03.4"W). The two lower lots are for the general public and are off 11th St. Their exact locations are 40°25'04.0"N 86°53'04.8"W and 40°25'04.5"N 86°53'06.4"W.

Can I have my phone out to take photos during the ceremony?

Yes, but keep in mind the ceremony is a Catholic mass, so absolutely NO flash or disruptions to the ceremony in any way.

What is the parking situation for the reception?

There is a large gravel lot on-site at the reception venue, with signs directing to it from the entrance. This lot has more than enough room for everyone's cars.

Will there be transportation provided between the events?

No, there will be no transportation services from the Ceremony to the Reception. If this is an issue for you, please reach out to us and we can help find a solution!

Are there dietary restriction options?

Dietary restrictions that are indicated in the RSVP will be accommodated. If something is not reported in the RSVP, we will most likely be unable to accommodate it on short notice.

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Yes. Please refer to the "Food and Drinks" page for more information.

Can I bring my own alcohol to the reception?

No, Gathering Acres does not allow any outside alcohol, as they are the only approved licensed vendor for the venue.

What if I have a question that is not answered here?

Please reach out and ask us! We'd bet someone else has the same question, so if you send it to us, we can add it to this page for you and everyone else.

How can we get ahold of one/both of you?

Feel free to text us! Just make sure to say who you are in case we do not have your number saved. Mikayla: 720-233-4502 Tim: 443-542-7544
