Our love story started when we were both working at Walmart together in 2021. Gavin and I, along with a group of our coworkers made plans to go out for drinks one night at Griffith`s Tavern. We had a group message that everyone was in and making plans for the night. Gavin messaged me outside of the group chat and offered to be my designated driver for the night. At the time I was unaware that he lived 5 minutes down the road from the tavern where we were getting drinks. That meant he was driving an extra 15 minutes just to pick me up and then another 20 to take me home.

That night was the beginning and we started to talk more and more. One day when talking he realized I had never been to Buttermilk falls. He then insisted on taking me to see it because he knew I would love it. It took a little while, but we finally made the trip to see them and to my surprise he decided to ask me to be his girlfriend on the platform that overlooks the falls.

Two years and some days later Gavin decided to take me back to the falls again on a random Wednesday after work. What started out as a normal adventure on a normal day quickly changed. After we went down under the falls and walked back up to the very same platform where he asked me to be his girlfriend, he tricked me into thinking he was taking a picture of me overlooking the falls. I posed for the picture with my back to him. After he repeatedly tapped me on my back, I turned around to see him down on his knee and he asked me to be his wife !! Our journey together has been amazing so far and I can not wait to see where it takes us.
