We had met a few times and always had great conversations but were living different lives at the time. After seeing each other at a mutual friends house, I tried to take Willie and Duke for the night while Mason went spearing even though I begged him to stay and hangout. Off he went and we kept in touch. A few weeks go by and my parents hosted a going-away party for Mason & Greg as they were headed out to Idaho. I was helping Mason get packed the night before they departed. Mason told me to pack my bags and head out to Idaho with him. After some convincing, I flew out three weeks later and my third day there I said I gotta move here. After so many adventures, hiking, fishing and of course hunting… we took an unforgettable horseback trip up to Mill Lake where Mason asked me to be his girlfriend in the Firebox Meadows. Adventures continue..

Fast forward two and half years, I joined Mason in Idaho on one of the coolest hunts ever after a mule deer. After lots of patience, in more ways than one, I was able to take the biggest buck and first mule deer with the help of Mason. After taking lots of pictures and 5 film takes later Mason asked me “will you be my wife forever?” And here is to many more adventures to come!
