Centennial Waterfront Park, Canyon Springs Rd, Twin Falls, ID 83301
Kayaking the Snake River is one of our favorite summer activities! You can chose: sit-on-tops, sit-insides, single seats, doubles (tandem), 2 or 4 hours. We usually do the singles sit-on-tops for 2 hours. We go at a nice easy pace to the Perrine Bridge and back.
Canyon Springs Golf Course, Canyon Springs Road, Twin Falls, ID

This is a great golf course to go to if you want the view of the bridge, the river, and the waterfalls. Eli and his friends go golfing a lot and this is one of their favorites.
Bowling at The Bowladrome

Eli loves bowling and he’s good at it. He has his own bowling balls and shoes! I go with him, but am still learning how to get 100 points. Thursday they have $2 games.
The Anchor Bistro And Sports Bar
334 Blue Lakes Blvd N, Twin Falls, ID 83301
208-733-6566
This is our favorite restaurant! They have something for everyone and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. It is all so good! We love their wings in buffalo or island fusion, their Idaho Cubano Sandwich with their regular fries, their Anchor Dip Sandwich, their Anchor Penne Mac, and their The Fredo Flatbread. It’s all so good! The drinks are delicious as well. Eli usually gets a beer, and I usually get the coco-libre.
This is our favorite coffee shop. They have two locations in Twin Falls. One on Blue Lakes Blvd and the other off of poleline road. My little sister used to work at the one off Poleline Road and is now the manager of the one in Downtown Boise. I usually get the White Bowl of Soul or a caramel breve. Eli usually gets the vanilla latte. Anything you get from here will be worth it! They also bake their own scones, cookies, muffins, and breads every morning.
This is a fun market that happens twice a year in Filer Idaho at the Fair Grounds. It is May 31st- June 1st 2024. There is usually a charge to get it, but it is 3 buildings full of vendors that sell vintage and homemade goods. They also usually have lots of food vendors for lunch and snacks. If you are in town before the wedding I’d definitely recommend stopping and checking it out. Carrie Berndt (Eli’s mom) used to always have a cute vintage booth there with her handmade items, not this year though.
This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in town, the food it so good and inexpensive! We usually get the asada or pastor tacos! Sometimes I’ll also get the mulita, and we love their burritos! If you are in town for the weekend we highly recommend stopping here to get lunch or dinner.
The Shoshone Falls are what are town is known for “The Niagara of the West”. It’s a 212 feet tall, 900 feet wide waterfall on the Snake River. It does cost $5 per vehicle to get in. They are open dusk to dawn. There are walking trails, bike trails, and it’s a great place for a picnic. The flow of the waterfall varies depending on the time of year because we use the water for irrigation. Be sure to check the flow before heading down to not be disappointed.
Blue Heart Springs is a little out-cove on the Snake River down in Buhl, Idaho. To get to Blue Heart Springs, put in at the boat launch at Banbury Hot Springs and paddle downstream along the Snake River for about a mile. On the north side of the river about 3/4 of a mile from the boat launch, youll see the outflow from Box Canyon Springs. You can rent paddle boards or kayaks at Banbury HotSprings and swim in the Blue Heart crystal clear water that is 58 degrees on even the hottest days. If Banbury Hot Springs still isn’t open by the time of the wedding I’d rent from AWOL sports and load them down to the boat launch.
