<p>Our story started in the most unexpected place — Kroger.Before we ever officially met, I met someone very important first: Thomas’s great grandpa. He would come into the store and proudly tell me that his grandson was getting a job there. I smiled and listened, never imagining that the grandson he spoke so highly of would one day become the love of my life.Then one day, Thomas asked me to hand him the scan gun.It was such a small moment. Simple. Ordinary. But somehow, it was the beginning of everything.We started as coworkers. Then friends. We laughed during shifts, talked between customers, and slowly built something that felt easy and natural. Somewhere along the way, friendship quietly turned into something more.When I realized I really liked him, I decided to be brave — and I asked Thomas to go to Kings Island with me. That day changed everything. What started as a fun trip became the start of something we both couldn’t ignore.I fell in love with him not long after… but I didn’t fully realize it until October 2023, standing next to him at a homecoming dance. In that moment, it all clicked. He wasn’t just my best friend. He wasn’t just my boyfriend.He was my person.From a scan gun at Kroger to the dance floor at homecoming, God was writing a story we never saw coming — and we can’t wait to keep writing it together forever.</p>
