Q: WHY IS IT ON A THURSDAY?
A: The hope in getting hitched on the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend is that folks were already planning on turning their three-day weekend to a four-day weekend, and with this event would compel guests to extend to a five-day weekend. A chance to celebrate Mike & Meagan during a beautiful time of year while also not having usual Memorial Day weekend plans disturbed. The happy couple hope you share their enthusiasm for this philosophy and that it fits well into your schedule (who doesn't need another reason to sneak out of work a day or two early)!
Q: AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A +1?
A: When you filled out your information form in late-May 2024, the amount of individuals invited in your party was specified. For some, this said +1, for others, the individual person was named.
Q: IS THERE A TRADITIONAL GIFT REGISTRY?
A: Mike & Meagan try to live minimally, so they have opted not to create a traditional gift registry. In its place, Mike & Meagan would appreciate your gift being directed to their honeymoon fund under the "registry" tab of their wedding website.
Q: IS THERE A RESERVED BLOCK OF ROOMS AT ONE PARTICULAR HOTEL?
A: Because there are so many lodging options surrounding Urban Daisy, and a wide amount of experiences to take in throughout the Twin Cities, Mike & Meagan wanted to leave lodging choice to each individual/group based on price, desired experience and proximity to venue.
Q: IS THERE A SHUTTLE TO BRING GUESTS TO AND FROM HOTELS?
A: Because Mike & Meagan opted to leave lodging choices to guests, there is no shuttle to or from any hotel. Many ride share options are available throughout the Twin Cities as well as taxis and public transportation.
Q: WHY HAVE I NOT HAD TO PICK A FOOD OPTION?
A: Mike & Meagan have acquired the services of the incredible LeFebvre's Catering, Meagan's mom Vicky's highly successful and sought-after company, to provide a buffet for the wedding that will have meat, veggie, gluten-free and other options that should satisfy nearly every dietary restriction you may be abiding by. There will also be delicious dessert and other food items throughout.
Q: HOW MANY FREE BEVERAGES DO I GET?
A: Mike & Meagan are hosting beer, wine, seltzers and mocktails for all of the cocktail hour (90 minutes) following the conclusion of the ceremony. Everything after those 90 minutes will be available for purchase (make sure to bring cash to tip!).
