The year is 2015. Laicee receives a snapchat message from a friend inviting her to come out to a party that was clearly winding down for the night. Like, '8 drunk dudes laying on a couch snuggling together' winding down. Laicee texted the snapchat friend: "send the address". Unbeknownst to either of them until 5 years later-- this party had been at Mike's apartment. When asked for the address to pass on, Mike said to their mutual friend "uh, no, this strange woman is not coming over what the hell". A year later, we were- more directly, matchmaker-style- introduced by the same friend who overstepped and invited Laicee to a private party at an apartment that wasn't hers.

Come to find out, that wasn't the first, second or even fourth time we had been in the same space, very nearly connecting for the past 10 years.

After our first date, we both knew. We didn't talk about it. and then we started talking about it so much that it was all we could talk about. We moved in together after 8 months. Got engaged within 1 year and a half and eloped privately on family land in Gaylord, MI on June 8th, 2019! We have created our life by design, with love and respect at the core of our values, and we're elated to re-commit ourselves to each other as the people we have grown into together.

Now, we are blessed with a beautiful, comfortable home that we've been pouring ourselves into for the last few years,. We're so excited to share our space with you for our 5 year anniversary and celebration of our vow renewal!
