Their first encounter was at church in early 2017. He was a returned missionary, and she was actively serving her mission in their ward. But don't jump to conclusions; they weren't close. They couldn't even be called friends. 😂

When she returned from her mission in March 2018, he sent her a friend request on Facebook. It took her days, even weeks, to accept. But eventually, they struck up a friendship. Just friends, though, as their feelings weren't mutual. Yet, he was tenacious. Despite the uncertainty, he persisted, and the friendship endured. His steadfastness and patience paid off when she decided to give him a chance, allowing herself to see him in a new light.
