Absolutely not, you can make your travel arrangements any way you'd like. We just offered Janet since she is familiar with all the plans and options.
Do we have to stay at that hotel?
Nope there are a total of 5 hotels on the resort property, you can stay at any of them. Keep in mind though, that the property where the wedding is being held is the highest tier property on the grounds, so there is a fee to "upgrade" for the day.
Is it an all inclusive hotel?
Yep, sure is!
Will we all travel together?
You don't have to. The travel agent will provide you with options. You can contact her at: Janetcltravel@gmail.com or call her at 847-917-5227
How do we hold our spot to make sure we get the room block pricing?
Please contact Janet to find out the payment schedule and how to make a deposit to ensure you take advantage of the group pricing.
Is this an adults only resort?
It is. That's good news if you don't want littles splashing and screaming as you sip your drink and snooze in the sun. Might be bad news if you have littles you want to bring. The other resorts on the grounds allow children if you prefer to stay there.
Should we plan for a traditional wedding with dinner, dancing and a sit down dinner?
We want an informal, causal and light feel. So the wedding will be a brief MORNING ceremony (mimosa in hand, feet in the sand) followed by a one hour cocktail reception with cake and finger foods. Then, it's off to the pool for fun and sun.
Is there a gift registry?
We are two houses joining into one. We have more than enough of "all the things". Your presence is gift enough. Please don't even consider a gift, really!
