Sarah and Mike met just after Sarah swore she was going to take a break from men. Then this 6'4 hunky muscle man walked right into her life. Perfect timing really, she didn't know how she was going to get her 150 lb bed frame up the stairs into her new apartment, and as described this man has muscles. They both didn't know that day that they met their match.Sarah and Mike enjoy finding new shows to watch together, playing competitive games against and with each other, hanging out with families, telling each other jokes and traveling together.Their families would each say they are happy the other one is in their family now.One thing anyone can see just from spending time with Sarah and Mike is that they have unwavering love and support for each other.

The walkway over the hudson is the longest walkway over water! The views from the walkway are absolutely beautiful! You can enter the walkway from Poughkeepsie or Highland. Let us know if you plan to go and have any questions!

The Poughkeepsie Galleria is a great mall if you forgot something! On the way to the mall and just a short drive from our venue there are 2 other shopping centers as well! Don't worry if you forgot your shoes, tie or socks! There are plenty of places to choose from!

Michelle is Sarah’s big sister and her first best friend. Sarah’s favorite person to annoy, the person she can always count on to be there through thick and thin. Their bond is absolutely unbreakable.

Sarah's Best friend from College. Two peas in a pod, although they live many miles away they seem to always be on the same wave length. They can always count on each other for love, support and encouragement. No matter how long it’s been since they have seen each other.

Kristin is what Sarah calls her “unofficial sister” they bond over being with the McGrath boys and have developed such a loving strong bond

Gina is married to Mikes best friend. She was the first one of Mike’s friends that Sarah met, Gina remembers being thankful there was another “normal” girl in the group.. little did she know, Sarah’s not very normal. The bond Sarah and Gina have formed is incredible over the last 5 years

Jordan is one of Sarah’s closest friends, Sarah even has a key to her house and Jordan’s dogs call her aunt Sarah. Sarah knows she can always call Jordan to go on an adventure, or even just for lunch on a whim.

Having their birthdays only 1 day apart, Sarah and Alisha are basically the same person. Alisha is the person Sarah knows she can talk to about anything and Alisha will feel the same way, because again...same person.

Sarah affectionately refers to Amanda as her “precious”. They met when Sarah was training Amanda at her previous job, they knew from day 1 they were meant to be friends. Described as “the sweetest woman I ever did meet” by Sarah

When Mike met Zach 28 years ago he wasn’t too sure about him, which if you met Zach is a good instinct. If you do not already know, Zach is Mike’s younger and slightly shorter brother. Mike and Zach love watching a ton of sports, which their significant others LOVE. They also love the Giants, drinking beer and making jokes at the others expense. Despite the jokes, Mike never had any doubts that Zach would be his Best Man. 

Zach McGrath

Jamie and Mike became friends over 20 years ago in elementary school. Their shared inappropriate senses of humor, love of video games and South Park quickly made them best friends who were inseparable. The two have shared the same thoughts frequently which is met with mixed reviews from friends and family. Jamie is Mike’s “Bestest Mensch” not only because he’s Mike’s oldest friend but also one of his best.

Remember the aforementioned “jokes at the others expense”? Multiply that by two, add a loud Italian, and you have Rob. Rob and Mike met through soccer in High School, and they became good friends in college. They both love talking football and playing mediocre golf together. He has been referred to as the “third son” by both of Mike’s parents and is also one of Mike’s best friends.

Mike’s buddy with the best complexion is Shaq. Mike and Shaq met in college and became friends through a mutual love of going out and partying, insulting people on Xbox live and lifting weights. They enjoy competing in these areas (Mike is stronger and Shaq is always happy to admit it). Out of all the friends Mike made after High School, Shaq is the one Mike is closest to.

Shaq Sinclair

The most kosher of the groomsmen, Mike met Joe in middle school. They became friends quickly while riding the bus together and going on Six Flags trips. Mike likes Joe so much that he even overlooks the fact that he dislikes It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Office, a crime that should be punishable by death. Joe is one of the most genuinely good people Mike has ever met.

Mike’s buddy with the brightest complexion is Brandon. Mike and Brandon became friends in High School through a shared love of King of Queens and sarcasm. Mike can always count on Brandon to have a glass of whisky with him or exchange dark jokes that most people would be appalled by. Brandon is not one for sentimental remarks, but Mike is glad that he is always there to be keep it real for him.

Brandon Shafer

Mike and Justin met in elementary school but became good friends during High School Soccer.  Justin is Mike’s other golfing buddy and they both enjoy going against each other in Madden or NBA 2k, even though Justin always loses to Mike. Justin and Mike have spent a lot of time together since High School and he is glad that when he started his career at United Healthcare Justin was there to start it with him.

There is not enough space to write about Brynlee, she is the daughter of Sarah’s sister Michelle and the light of her life. Sarah and Brynlee have an auntie niece bond like nothing before. Please don’t call her the flower girl. She will tell you she is the Flower Princess!

Sarah’s Niece- the second youngest member in the wedding party. She loves bows and wearing cool clothes. Her little smile and big eyes are hard to resist

Lucas is the son of Deanna- Sarah’s best friend from college. He’s a whizz at all things video game and just the sweetest boy! He loves ET and thinks Aunt Sarah is SO cool because she met ET in Hollywood.

Charles Lutz, referred to by most people as "Charlie" is one of Sarah's best friends. Sarah and Charlie met in 2011 when they both started just months apart at their previous job with United HealthCare. Charlie has been there for Sarah through many trying times in her life, always ready with a beer or some type of delicious food (his magic mac is A+++) to make her feel better. They were referred to as "work siblings" and they fight like siblings do just to prove that title is real. Charlie is kind, compassionate and will do anything to make the people that he loves happy no matter what it takes. (He's single too, ladies) Charlie now resides in Seattle, WA and Sarah will never forgive him for moving to the other side of the country, but is grateful he came back to be such an important part of the wedding.

Please wear cocktail/evening attire to our fabulous event! The venue is beautiful, love is beautiful and your clothes should match! ;) FYI the ceremony is in grass. We highly suggest women do not wear stilettos or skinny heel shoes!
