Mike and Joanna both attended the University of Michigan for their undergraduate studies but somehow their paths never crossed. It wasn't until Fall of 2018 at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where they first met, Mike a second year student while Joanna a first year. As they spent more and more time together their friendship blossomed into something more.

Mike finally mustered the courage to invite Joanna for drinks in early 2020.... perfect timing. Even a global pandemic couldn't stave off the budding romance. Between online classes and treating patients, Mike and Joanna managed to find plenty of adventures. From wineries in Traverse City to visiting farms in West Virginia, there has never been a dull moment.

As graduation came and went for Mike, he decided to take a job in Detroit to remain just a short drive from Joanna in Ann Arbor. When it was Joanna's turn to graduate, they decided to take a leap of faith and move to Midland, MI. On top of entering the workforce and moving to a new city, the couple decided to buy a house together. The happy couple loves their new home and fill their time golfing, eating, visiting friends and spending quality time with family.

Mike and Joanna are grateful to have so many friends and family to celebrate their big day with. GO BLUE!
