One summer night, a wish was made. A wish for love and happiness with the perfect person. Little did I know that wish would come true when I saw Jamie on Instagram. We had been friends in high school, and I had a big crush on her that I never acted on. It had to be fate giving me a sign, so I waited for the right time to message her.

Our first date was at Winking Lizard, very classy. Jamie swept me off my feet. Almost literally, because she got into detail about nursing, and I almost passed out. I didn't want to blow it, so I splashed some water on my face, took a couple of deep breaths, and got back out there. Luckily, she had a good time, and we set a second date.

That was the start of the most memorable and best time in my life. Every day Jamie and I spent together was one full of love and happiness. I am so grateful to her for the love, support, care, sarcasm, humor, Tigger (Our kitty), and joy that now fills my life.
