Maddie and Mike met while both "celebrity" bar tending at the late, great, Wobbly Bobby British Pub in downtown Rapid City. When Mike was asked to help due to short staffing, he took the week off from work, with zero bartender knowledge he was joined by Maddie, the serious powerhouse of the week. Mike immediately knew there was something special about Maddie. After a few evenings working together, they left a lasting impression on one another. Then, few months of intermittent trivia nights with friends at the Wobbly Bobby later, Maddie and Mike went to breakfast and spent the day in the beautiful Black Hills which lead to a dinner date at Juniper. From then on, they quickly fell in love and became best friends.

Rapid City Regional Airport

There is a shuttle that will service the Deadwood, Spearfish, Sturgis, and Rapid City area. If you would like to coordinate with other guests than this may be a good option. Out of town rate (Spearfish and Deadwood) are $50 per person and in town rates are $25- $45 per person.

The Deadwood Lodge also provides an airport shuttle service and a cash machine. In the Black Hills of South Dakota, this lodge is just a mile from historic downtown Deadwood. Hikes

A short easy hike for a morning or afternoon along a gravel path. Located just a short fourteen-minute drive from Rapid City on Highway 16, the Stratobowl holds a rich piece of aerospace history. This serene valley was the liftoff site for the record-breaking balloon flights by the Army Air Corps and National Geographic Society in 1934 and 1935. Their daring ascent into the stratosphere made history and captured the first-ever photograph of the Earth’s curvature.

HIKE This trail you can get a little bit of everything, including forest, grassland, and two different reservoirs. The trail is well maintained and has a good amount of elevation gain. The reservoirs provide picturesque scenery. You can find the starting point by searching 'Deadman Pass Trailhead' on Google.

Sturgis Reservoir Trailhead

This 4.4 mile, 488 foot elevation gain, point-to-point trail near Sturgis is generally considered an easy route.

Fort Meade Recreation Area

This trail requires a fee but, you will catch an excellent view of the surrounding area. There is very little shade so be sure to bring water and sun protection. The trail to the summit is 1.85 miles and has significant elevation gain. The footing on this trail can also be a little loose in spots.Mato Paha&nbsp;or "Bear Mountain" is the Lakota name given to this site. To the Cheyenne, it is "Noahvose." This geological formation is one of several intrusions of igneous rock in the Black Hills that formed millions of years ago. The mountain is sacred to many American Indian tribes who come here to hold religious ceremonies. Please be respectful of worshippers and their religious practices.

Bear Butte State Park

Roughlock Falls is one of the most visited areas in South Dakota. The Roughlock Falls trailhead is located just beyond Spearfish Canyon Lodge along FSR&nbsp;222. The trail is approximately&nbsp;one mile from the falls, and is considered an easy trail which showcases plenty of breathtaking views, wildlife, trout fishing and one of the few places in the Black Hills to observe the rare American dipper, a bird that can both walk and swim under water.

In other words, a suit and tie or well-tailored blazer and dress pants are preferable for men, tie optional, while jumpsuits and mini, knee-length and midi cocktail dresses are great options for women. This is a dress code that comes with quite a variety of options. The couple would like their guests to know that the majority of the venue is outside. The ceremony will be in a grass field therefore comfortable footwear, a wedged heel, or flats are highly recommended!
