It all started from a fun loving friendship that became a beautiful love story. Our love has created an epic tale of countless adventures.

I knew I was falling head over boots for Mike one casual night. I was handed a calendar on a clip board, a glass of wine, and a blanket. As he made a fire, he asked me to write down dates on the calendar for when I was busy, and days I was free. As I do, Mike tells me it was all to be able to make time available for me. It was very simple action that made my heart instantly melt. From that point forward I have been surrounded by amazing little (and sometimes BIG) surprises around every corner.

From that moment the memories we have created have been so special and significant and are incomparable.

One Christmas Eve we decided to go to our regular beach-camping spot. We drove separate, and as I pull in, a sign greeted my admiring smile that said “ Sandy Cove” surrounded by tea lights. The entire campsite was ready to go. Campfire, tents, chairs and even a picnic table waiting for lounging. The ambience was magical. As I walk around Mike’s truck, I notice beside the campsite was a tree, not just any tree, but a hand planted Christmas Tree with lights. I will never forget the exceptional effort Mike continuously puts into make me feel so special, especially when I least expect it.

As we remember monumental moments, Brooke and I’s friendship really flourished into a loving partnership. I look back to the beginning of our relationship and I am so thankful we both took a chance on one another. I have countless memories of cooking dinner with Brooke and watching Astros games at our apartment. Exploring new places and taking evening walks around the lake with all of the dogs embedded a foundation of love and laughter.

My admiration and love for Brooke really took root when I learned how truly loving, caring and selfless mother and partner she is. Watching her be exactly who she is, is why I am absolutely in love with her. As our journey continues to have a memorable feats of nature along with the hilarious moments that are appreciated more as the stories are recollected. From boating explorations and mountainous Colorado hikes, to tropical paradise in Hawaii, every venture is a memory that will last a life time. I cherish all the wonderful memories we have made. I can not wait to see what the future holds for our us and our family.

As our story continues to unfold, every minute of it will, without question, be the reason for our hearts to be magnetized. I look foward to spending the rest of my life with my best friend, full of laughs and love.
