Q + A

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Please send your RSVP by September 1, 2023, so we can get everything planned accordingly. You can RSVP on our website. Please contact the bride or groom if you have any questions.

Where are you registered?

You can find our registry on our website. We have also set up a cash fund to help pay for a down payment on our first home!

What should I do if I can't make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a guest / date with me?

Please, do not bring a guest or date unless your invitation / save the date specifies that you have a "plus one". We have a limited capacity available and cannot accommodate any additional guests.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Ceremony and reception will both be at the McCormick Home Ranch in Camarillo, CA.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

In late October, the weather starts getting cooler. We expect it to be mid-70's during daylight hours, and get cooler down to lower 60's when the sun goes down. We recommend bringing a wrap or a light jacket for the evening.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Yes! There are some gravel/dirt areas, but the site is wheelchair accessible.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

We do not have a hotel block. There are many hotels in Camarillo, Oxnard, or Thousand Oaks that are close by the venue. You can check out our Travel page on our website for some recommendations!

Will transportation be provided to/from hotel?

No, we will not be providing transportation, so please plan accordingly!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

We would love if everyone can dress semi-formal / cocktail attire. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, since we will be walking on grass, patio, and gravel areas (P.S. Bride & Groom are both wearing Nike sneakers). Please no jeans!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. You may want to bring a jacket in case the weather cools down after sunset.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive no sooner than 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! We will be serving beverages before the ceremony.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

There is parking on-site and it is free. Signs will be posted on-site for the designated parking area. We always like to recommend carpool, or Uber/Lyft if you plan on drinking alcoholic beverages.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! We will even have activity books for the kiddos, in case they get bored.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Yes! When you RSVP, please note if you have any dietary restrictions we should be aware of. You can also contact the bride or groom.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

We would love if you take pictures during the reception, but please do not take photos and remain "unplugged" during the ceremony. We do encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels; our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag (#LasaterAtLast) so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
