We met Freshman year at Drake University, but our story really started when we studied abroad in the same city together Sophomore year. In February 2013, we were off to Madrid, Spain!

(Well, Mikhala's mom Monica will say it started with the drive to Chicago to get our student visas...)

We made so many fun memories together abroad with trips in Spain and across Europe. During Junior year at Drake, we made things official and enjoyed Greek fraternity & sorority date parties and formals galore together.

Dancing in and winning the Alpha Phi Red Dress Gala "Dancing with the Phis" competition was a highlight!

After graduation, Mikhala visited Bryan in Minneapolis before heading out for a year in China - and a year of long-distance.

Bryan came to visit and we explored Chongqing and Hong Kong!

Mikhala moved to Minnesota after China and we enjoyed making new memories in the Twin Cities.

We moved into our first rental home together in Hopkins, MN:

We bought our first home together in Minneapolis and have continued to enjoy our lives here in MN together.

We've cherished toasting to love with our friends and family at weddings over the years, and can't wait to celebrate our love with you now!

We got engaged on a trip to Playa del Carmen in February 2023 on the rooftop at sunset.

We eloped at Lake Panorama in September 2023, and can't wait to celebrate our ten years of love with you all in Minneapolis at our favorite neighborhood brewery in June 2024!
