It all started with a new face in my Kingdom Hall. After returning from a trip, a new face made her way to the recently merged Cascade View French in Seattle. She decided to stay even if learning French is not easy. Unbeknownst to me at that time, She had been in a French Congregation for 4 years prior to that encounter. Couple of months of getting to understand her genuine love for Jehovah, I invited her for a Karaoke night. Next, it was a Salsa Dance Night. Then a dinner with a friend. Shortly after that, we started dating.

If you ask Abbie, she will say ... It all began the summer of 2022 when I moved to Seattle to serve in a foreign language congregation. Since I wanted to make my new congregation home, I was quick to accept invitations for service, get-togethers coffee, anything that would allow me to get to know the city and spend time with my new congregation. Low and behold there was somone else in my new circle who also happened to love being in the ministy, going to movies, and Karaoke nights. One invitation led to more opportunities to spend time together like early morning service, salsa dancing 💃🏻 , and game nights 🎲. Hence, a wonderful firendship turned to something more ✨️.
