Our Story

On a balmy evening in July, they met at a bonfire in Pine Bush that neither of them were supposed to attend. They came for the tacos, but stayed for the company. She laughed at his jokes, and he noticed.

Fast forward to sometime in October — she reached out again, but he didn't respond. Evidently, he was concussed from a softball game earlier that day ...

He apologized, promised to hang out again in November, and they did. This time, at an arcade in Beacon. The food was okay and the night was chilly, but the conversation was bright and warm ...

Apparently, they had a lot in common: a love of classical music, soccer, art, and many more things.

On the coldest day of the winter, he invited her to see the New York String Orchestra at Carnegie Hall with some friends. Their fingers were frozen, but they didn't notice.

Time made things clear and on April Fools day, they both decided to drop the jokes and make it official. On a cool, pleasant evening in the spring, they had their first date at the New Paltz planetarium.

Fast forward to a rainy day, eight months later: at the Nelson Atkins Art Museum in Kansas City, they decided life would just be better together, forever.

In the past year, we've made lots of beautiful memories together, surrounded by all of the people who love us the most.

And now we're getting married, and we can't wait to be surrounded by all the people who we love the most.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in our little story. We love you all dearly.
