Should I dress formal or casual?

Totally up to you!!! This is a casual wedding but we don't mind if you want to go all out :) Consider the venue is outside and in nature. The ground varies from dirt, gravel, and wood chips but the dance floor will be inside. If it rains, the ground may be muddy. Wear what feels good to you! I'm sure you will be beautiful no matter what!!! Just make sure you can bust a move

will I need a sweater?

yes! I would recommend bringing a jacket or sweater for the evening. we are at 5,400 ft of elevation and it might get cool at night!

What's the ground like?

Gravel, dirt, paved and wood chips- plan accordingly!

Do you have hotel accommodations/room blocks?

Yes! Check out the Shasta Inn section in accommodations!

Can we stay at the Methodist Camp?

yes! Free tent and RV camping allowed!

Is there electricity hook-ups for RVs?

No, sorry!

is there parking?

yes! parking is limited so carpooling is encouraged. Please park considerately!

Will there be a shuttle?

yes! we have limited parking at our venue so carpool accordingly or know that we will have a shuttle service to and from the venue, please contact Hannah or Miller for more information if shuttling.

How far is the Methodist Camp from Mt Shasta?

around 20-30 minutes depending if you know how to drive curvy roads! 😜

If I camp, will there be toilets and showers?

yes! they have both toilets/bathrooms and showers!

What if it rains?

I have no idea, we will cross that bridge if we need to and you will hear from me somehow!

Any campground rules?

yes! Chris (the owner of the property) lives in the house near the pavilion -- obviously the house is off limits in addition to two Meadows near the ceremony site! please be respectful to Chris! other than that, we have no quiet time and we can stay up all night! wahoo!!!

Can my dog come?

technically yes! Check in with Hannah or Miller if you would like your dog to attend. Chris has a section on his website stating dogs are welcome as long as they are well behaved and under control-- copy past Chris website link

what are the temperature changes like at the Methodist camp?

The Methodist camp is at a slightly higher elevation -- my guess is 4500 ft elevation so the temperature gets cool at night. Bring a jacket or sweater if you are like me and get cool! should be great weather for dancing!

Will we be traveling to different places for the ceremony and reception?

nope! it's in the same place!

is the venue indoor or outdoors?

both! it's mostly outdoors but there is a pavilion with space for us to eat dinner
