On Friday, February 5, 2021, my friends and I decided to take a trip to Jackson, Mississippi to go see one of our other good friends that was going through a master's program there. Little did I know it was going to be the best weekend of my life.

Jackson has held a special place in our hearts due to her going to Millsaps College and me visiting two of my best friends every semester in college. However, Millicent and I's path never crossed during those four years of school. It took until post-grad to meet.

On February 5, 2021, Millicent and I met at Fondren Pub. I thought she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen before. We ended up talking all night and spending the rest of the evening together. Come Saturday, we again spent all afternoon and evening with each other.

I remember on the way home from Jackson I kept talking about her to my friends, and they said you are just going to end up marrying this girl, and little did they know how right they were.

On April 10, 2021, we start dating, and the rest was history. Millicent luckily said yes to marrying me on December 2, 2023! From Jackson to Memphis and back to New Orleans, it has been the greatest three plus years of our lives and we are so excited to spend the rest of our lives with each other (and Indy)!

We are so excited to celebrate with everyone at our wedding!
