If you want to immerse yourself into Charleston's culture, take a carriage tour! They take you around the city, locating historic sites or explaining different quirks about Charleston. Best part-you get to pet the horse after!-Mills :)
2nd Sunday is a downtown Charleston tradition every month. They close down the street and make it pedestrian only. Shops open their doors and restaurants have tables on the street. There is live music and sweet treats on every corner. This is a must for November 10th.
The Charleston City Market has the best local shops all in one place. Great for souvenirs! This street is lined with shops but also surrounded by amazing restaurants to stop in and grab a bite to eat.
