Back in the wild year of 2020, when COVID ruled the world and our only escape was strolls in the park, fate brought us together. We were the epitome of fitness, rocking our finest forms. But oh, when those eateries reopened, it was a culinary catastrophe! The kilos piled on, and we realised our mutual weakness for all things delicious. Mina's heart knew Maryse was "the one" when she bestowed upon him a bowl of soup during her rush to work, just before a night shift, nursing him back to health. And Maryse, her love for Mina solidified when he battled the treacherous Sydney traffic for a gruelling two hours after a long day's work, all to whisk her away to a restaurant she had been itching to try. As the years ticked by, our love blossomed like a sunflower in full bloom, fortified by the boundless love and grace of God. And now, brace yourself, for our special day, filled with joy and eagerly awaits the presence of our cherished friends and family. Let the celebration commence!

Oh, the tale of Marial, the official elder sister and the unofficial extra mama to Maryse, unfolds with intriguing twists behind those mysterious doors. Secretly, Maryse served as Marial's personal punching bag and a little marionette. Yet, in the realm beyond those closed doors, an enchanting phenomenon emerged. Behold, for NO ONE, we emphasise, absolutely NO ONE dared to lay a finger on Maryse.

Marial, a force to be reckoned with, fearlessly confronted girls twice her age during their primary school escapades, all because they had uttered words that pierced Maryse's tender heart. To this day, Marial remains an unwavering inspiration to Maryse, a shining beacon of dedication and grit, exemplified by her numerous law awards and her extraordinary role as a marvellous mother to two delightful little monkeys.

 Victoria Jordan, fondly known as VJ, the ancient comrade of Maryse from their med school days. Together, they embarked on a daring expedition across the treacherous Tasman Sea, bidding farewell to the serene lands of Tasmania and venturing forth to the lively realm of NSW. Fear, however, dared not dwell within their hearts, for they knew that as long as they had each other, they could conquer any challenge that lay ahead. 
VJ, a paragon of intellect and unparalleled excellence in all her endeavours, never failed to inspire Maryse. While VJ's choice of adopting cats over dogs raised an eyebrow, Maryse lovingly embraced her best friend's feline obsession, knowing their friendship transcends such differences.

Yujin, Maryse's former work wife. From humble beginnings as junior doctors to advanced trainees, their journey intertwined. Yujin's radiant spirit and delightful personality serve as a lifeline for Maryse during these challenging  years of specialisation.

But it wasn't just their shared professional path that brought them together. Their comparable heights formed the bedrock of their friendship, allowing them to converse effortlessly without the strain of tilting their necks. How convenient it is to have a companion who can hear your every word without elongating one's spine!

Although their paths may have diverged romantically, the cherished memories and camaraderie they built as colleagues will forever hold a special place in their hearts
