Matt had thought long and hard for the best way to surprise the love of his life. It finally came to him.. why not with Family.

Family is a huge part of Matt & Mindie's lives that there couldn't possibly be any better way than with them. So on December 9th in Kenora, Ontario at Matt's Nieces Birthday Party (Aylah), he decides this was the perfect time. Matt's Mom (Deb) took all three little nieces up stairs to make sure they remembered what they were going to be saying. A few minutes later all three came down the stairs and little Gracie kept saying Auntie Minnow, Auntie Minnow, well Deb was saying back to her, Gracie shhh. They got downstairs and all stood by Auntie Mindie, while Jane (the youngest) sat on Mindie's lap. All three looked at Aylah (the oldest) and on cue all said Auntie Mindie will you be our Auntie. Mindie looked at them with a confused, smiling facing saying what yes of course girls. (Thinking she was already their Auntie). While Matt got down on one knee and said "Mindie, will you Marry Me?" Mindie said OMG Yes with excited, happy tears running down her face. It was the most touching moment that will be remembered forever!!
