Our Wedding

We met in July 2023, halfway across the world on a trip to Egypt — two strangers from opposite sides of the U.S., unknowingly about to change each other's lives.Manny was celebrating his 30th birthday with his first-ever trip outside the country, while Minerva was there to help her younger cousin explore the world. Despite the heat, the exhaustion, and the whirlwind of adventure, something about this trip was different. From late-night conversations to naps on bus rides between ancient sites, we quickly went from strangers to inseparable travel companions.When we returned to the States — with Manny in Reno and Minerva in Boston — we spent six weeks apart but never missed a beat. Our connection only grew stronger through constant calls, texts, and laughter. We made it a point to see each other every 2–3 weeks, until Manny made the bold decision to move to Boston so we could truly begin our life together.Since then, we’ve traveled to five countries, countless states, and met incredible people along the way. We thrive on new experiences, deep conversations, and the simple joy of being by each other’s side.On Thanksgiving, surrounded by family and friends, Manny proposed — a moment that perfectly captured what matters most to us: love, connection, and home.We can’t wait to begin this next chapter together — and we’re so excited to celebrate with you!

✈️ Travel Details &amp; BookingWe will be staying at the Riu Palace Punta Cana in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. 🌴☀️ Our wedding celebration will take place next door at the Kukua Beach Club, a beautiful oceanfront venue. The group booking deadline through our travel agent has passed, but don’t worry! You still have options: You are welcome to book your stay directly with the resort or through your preferred travel site.
