Ming and Yifang first encountered each other at the Blooming In Christ single's retreat organized by Ambassadors for Christ in September 2021. Initially, their interaction was limited to casual greetings among participants. However, Ming's interest was piqued when he discovered Yifang's musical talent, aligning with his passion for creating original music to praise God. Impressed by her musical prowess and amiable personality, Ming decided to get to know her better.

Their relationship took a significant step forward when Ming drove three hours to Yifang's city for a coffee and a visit to her church fellowship. During the conversation, they discovered a deep connection despite their short acquaintance. Ming was smitten by Yifang's devotion to her faith and her easy-going nature, while Yifang found Ming's songs touching and admired his relaxing character. Their relationship blossomed, culminating in an exclusive commitment in February 2022.

Despite the geographical distance, months of virtual communication deepened their understanding and affection for each other. Their in-person meetings required substantial effort. Recognizing the benefit to their relationship, considering Ming's job near Philadelphia and Yifang's more flexible work, Yifang made the decision to move to Ming’s town in May 2022, marking a new chapter in their journey.

Throughout the years in the relationship, Ming, openly sharing his occasional negative emotions and the challenge of learning selflessness and discipline within God's love, found solace and understanding in Yifang's love, wisdom, empathy, and acceptance. Yifang, dealing with a tendency to overthink future challenges, felt comfortable unloading her thoughts and completely relaxing in Ming’s love, respect, gentleness, and humbleness. Together, they solidified their love within the embrace of God's grace.

Their relationship flourished over time, marked by occasional differences that led to minor disagreements, yet their commitment to each other remained steadfast. United in their pursuit of Christ, embodying Jesus' unconditional love, and sharing a common vision for worship services, they decided to enter into marriage under God's covenant.

In the presence of Rev. Tony, Helen, Elder Philip, and Anya, Ming and Yifang officially became husband and wife on September 10, 2023. However, they shared a common desire to host a formal wedding ceremony—a worshipful service and a public declaration and testimony of their love.

Therefore, on May 4, 2024, they joyously celebrated their union with a formal wedding ceremony. It was a moment of worship, a public declaration, and a testament to their enduring love and unwavering commitment. They were immensely grateful for the presence and participation of their loved ones in this sacred occasion. Thank you for being a part of it!
