We realized that we were not cut out for wedding planning, and that a traditional ceremony was not quite for us. We decided to elope in December 2024 and throw a big party to celebrate with all our friends and family instead!

Aside from some of the tourist attractions (Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Fishermans Wharf) there are a lot of beautiful things to do in the city. Check out our Things to Do page and Things to Eat + Drink for our favorite activities.

Check out our Travel page for recommended hotels. You can of course find your own hotel, though we recommend against staying in the Tenderloin area.

We recommend Ubering (or Waymo!) most places and you can also walk a lot of San Francisco. Finding parking can be a huge pain and car break-ins are unfortunately very common, especially around the tourist areas.
