How We Met
Miranda and Liam were introduced through mutual friends at a party their sophomore year at Stonehill College. Liam had the opportunity to tell Miranda how much better his Florida Gators were than her South Carolina Gamecocks. Fireworks from the start.
The Relationship
After talking and having unofficial dates at the dining hall at Stonehill, Miranda made the best decision of both of their lives and asked Liam to go to a Red Sox game with her, after all of her NYC supporting friends said no. They spent the day with each other and began an impressive streak of five years attending games where the Boston team lost. Shortly after, they made it Facebook official as they went into their first summer as a couple. That summer, Liam was too nervous to say I Love You, and Miranda, ever the confident one, had no problem doing so first. They were young, probably dumb, but definitely in love.
Since that first summer, Miranda and Liam have made countless memories together, lived in three separate apartments around Boston, and purchased their first home in Merrimack, NH. They’ve been inseparable. By the time of the wedding, Miranda and Liam will have been together for over eight years. Their relationship is built on laughter, adventure, and Mamma Mia!
The Proposal
Liam got the engagement ring months before planning to propose. He had planned to have friends visit for a day in Boston before popping the question. The night before, over some (many) drinks with friends, Liam got a fun little email saying he had Covid. Cheers!
After two weeks of quarantine, anxiety, and frustration, Miranda and Liam were able to get engaged in the Boston public gardens in the company of friends. This was where they had their first official date.
The Future
Miranda and Liam could not be more excited for their big day and to have the opportunity to spend it with the people they love and cherish the most.
