Our journey began on Hinge, where a shared connection to Spain first brought us together. Miranda was headed there, and Leon was going just a couple weeks later. We connected over travel, but something deeper stuck. After Miranda returned, we went on our first dates—and when Leon left for his trip, we didn’t stop talking the entire time he was gone.Fast forward to our two-year anniversary: a cozy staycation in Hendersonville made us realize just how happy we were together. We wandered through downtown, stumbled upon Leon’s dream wedding band, and something just clicked. Not long after, we decided—why wait? Let’s get married this fall. Even though the wedding was already in motion, Leon surprised Miranda with a proposal in Spain the day before her birthday. The two were exploring the Basque region, visiting family, and seeing where Leon’s dad grew up. At the top of a mountain near a cathedral, still in their travel clothes after a luggage mishap, Leon proposed with the most beautiful view behind them. It was simple, spontaneous, and perfect.From the very beginning, our relationship challenged us—in the best ways. We’re so excited to share this next chapter with all of you—surrounded by the mountains, under the stars, and hand in hand.
