Our Wedding

Jordan and I met in highschool and started dating within a few months of knowing each other. Since then it has been nothing but love between us. We have 3 dogs together named Trax, Fish and Slim who we absolutely adore. Jordan and I love to spend time together and we love to go on adventures. We are constantly joking with each other and are truly best friends! We are so thankful for the support from our families over the years and we cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together.♥️

Hi! I’m Katie, Miranda’s crazy best friend! As you can see, I won the fight of being the MOH against both of my sisters. Miranda and I were actually the last to become friends out of the sisters, but by our friendship you’d never know that. One of my favorite memories of Miranda and I is being chased by homeless men in a parking garage at 4am after a night out… instead of being scared that our lives were on the line, we were crying laughing that it was happening to us. Being able to watch Miranda and Jordan’s love grow throughout the last couple of years has been nothing short of special. I am blessed to be able to stand by Miranda’s side and celebrate the Lathes! ❤️

Katie Williams

Miranda and I met over 5 years ago when I met Jordan in college and he introduced me to her at a party I was throwing. I knew from the first conversation I had with her that we would get along real well. She is one of the most selfless people I’ve ever met and has such a big heart. I’ll give her credit because she’s kind of funny too. I love her and Jordan so much and am so excited to watch them continue to grow old together ❤️

Susan Williams

Hey I’m Krystle and I used to be Miranda’s maid of honor first 😂 Just kidding. Anyways, Miranda and I met back in 2019 when I slid in her instagram dm’s asking her to keep a secret and she did so here we are!! When I first moved to Charlotte, Miranda was the only person I knew in the area so we did pretty much everything together…she even convinced me to get a dog!! Miranda and I have so many memories the list could go on forever, but I think my top two are our beach trip in the middle of Covid with her mom, and the time we went to Panama City and I made it to Panama City a whole 8 hours before her (it’s a long story!) 😂 Miranda is one of my best friends who has been here for me through it all, and I’m so lucky and honored to stand by her side on her big day! We have all been waiting for this one! It’s about damn time!! 🩷

Krystle Williams

Hey I’m Jonnetta! I met Miranda through work, starting out I couldn’t stand her and that feeling was mutual. We grew closer once we were the only remaining techs at our hospital. Here we are 4 years later and now were known as the bonded pair. Yin and Yang if you want, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I have nothing but love and excitement for Miranda and Jordan and wish them nothing but best for years to come!

Hi my name is Tinsley and Jordan is my brother. When he started dating Miranda I was ten, I’m now eighteen… and it’s about time she becomes a Lathe. She has been there for me forever and I have considered her family since the day I met her. It has been such a blessing to watch their love grow into what it is today. I’m so excited to see what their future holds and to gain a sister. I love y’all both❤️

Tinsley Lathe

What’s up, my name is Evan Mauldin. Me and Jordan have went to school with each other our whole lives but became bestfriends at middle school baseball tryouts in seventh grade. My first impression was “
‘dang this kid is small but hits better than literally everyone else here.’ I introduced Jordan and Miranda to each other in 10th grade and my two bestfriends became lovers and it’s been a huge blessing to my life ever since. I appreciate all the love they have shown each other and me, and I wish them nothing but the best! 

Evan Mauldin

Hey I’m Nick aka Jordan and Miranda’s roommate. Jordan and I go way back to kindergarten, although we stopped being friends for a while after a phonebook fundraising incident. Fortunately, we were able to put that aside in high school and have been best friends ever since. I’m very blessed to be apart of Jordan and Miranda’s journey and grateful for all the memories we’ve shared along the way. I have so much love for both of you and can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Nick Perros

I’m Scottie.
Jordan and I became close when we started playing ball together back in middle school. We were always either right in front of or behind each other in the lineup, and always side-by-side on the field. Honestly, I felt like I could never get away from this guy.

Our friendship only got stronger through high school, especially as we started hanging out in groups — and that’s when I first met Miranda. She’s been around ever since.

Fast forward to college — we played ball together, lived together, had the same classes… we literally did everything together. And I hated to see those days come to an end when we graduated.

I’m incredibly grateful for a friend like Jordan. He’s loyal, solid, and someone you always want in your corner. And I know Miranda’s going to keep him straight.

Their marriage has been a long time coming, and I couldn’t be more excited for them both.

Hey my name is Justin Shamp. I have known Jordan ever since he was about 10 or 11. My wife was actually his babysitter believe it or not. From him being that young kid to where we are today, we have been through it all.
We have been on countless beach trips, body surfing like our lives depended on it.
We have defended the Panthers and Cam Newton until we were blue in the face. We
have tortured ourselves golfing, and we have taken one too many peanut butter shots at a Tootsies in Panama City.
Throughout all the great memories we have had, being by his side while he marries Miranda, will be the best one yet. I love you both and can't wait to celebrate!

Hey, I’m John-Mark and I met Jordan six years ago when we played baseball together at Mars Hill. Jordan and I became  close when he and Scottie asked me to be their roommate. Little did I know i actually had an extra roommate in Miranda because she came to visit Jordan all the time. I enjoyed my time building friendships with both of them because they are now friends for life. I am very thankful for their friendship and I wish them all the best in their next step of life!
