Jason & Miranda met at the wedding of mutual friends, the Hills. Miranda was a bridesmaid, and Jason was a guest of the groom. Miranda thought she was being subtle when she checked Jason out as she walked past him, but…it was pretty obvious. Jason came up to her as she was behind the bar with the rest of the wedding party and, in true Miranda fashion, she proceeded to grab a paper towel & “wipe down the bar” like a seasoned bartender, asking Jason “what’ll it be.” Clearly undeterred by her dorkiness, Jason asked for a drink & she mixed it up. Joe, the groom, then walked up and the two walked away to chat. Miranda decided to join the conversation, so she sidled up to Jason and proceeded to—as she likes to say—hold him verbally hostage for 10 minutes. One of the other bridesmaids then came to get her to go to the wedding table, making the comment “that guy seems really into you.” Miranda laughed and said “I think he’s just being polite.” The two went their separate ways for dinner, but when the music started, they were both out on the dance floor. When a slow song came on, Miranda went to leave the dance floor. Jason asked her to dance, and that was it! The two danced, talked, and laughed the night away. Jason kissed her, they exchanged contact info, and had their first “official” date exactly one week later. Not wanting to waste anymore time, the two made it official that night, and the rest is history!
