Our Wedding

Luke and Miranda's story began when they met freshman year of high school. They quickly became friends after bonding over volleyball in gym class. Everyone thought there was something there when they went to the homecoming dance together sophomore year, however they still just remained friends throughout the remainder of high school. They maintained their friendship throughout college, frequently catching up on school breaks. Things started to change when they FINALLY started dating during their senior year of college. After graduating, they both moved back to Illinois and began their careers. Their love for each other has continued to grow over the years. Luke proposed on October 13, 2024 while they were having a picnic at a forest preserve that they frequently walk at together.

Our Story

With Luke’s encouragement, in 2023 Miranda adopted a German Shorthaired Pointer,&nbsp;Nala, who brings them both great joy and love. Luke never planned on having a dog, but has grown to love the companionship. Now, one of their favorite things to do is go on long walks with Nala. She is full of energy and has been the greatest addition to the family.
