Our Wedding

Our story begins on Facebook&nbsp;....... Well, it really begins before that.&nbsp; I would say I had been praying with my prayer group for several years prior to 2019 every Friday night at Greater Progressive Christian Church. Most of my friends pretty much knew that I was waiting on Boaz. In 2019, I brought my parents to live with me and basically stop praying for a husband as my attention required me to shift to their care and well being. Three years later, in 2022, my father passed and then my mother passed in October of 2023.&nbsp; BUT GOD! Yet, in January of 2023, my Bishop D. Previn Carr prophesied that I would find my husband before the end of the year. Eight months passed, its September and I am talking to GOD saying, “You said through Bishop that I was going to find my husband by the end of the year and the year is almost over.”&nbsp;&nbsp;No less than 2 weeks later, I meet Mr. Jackie Tippens on what I thought was Facebook marketplace. Turns out I was on Facebook dating and the rest is history...... After meeting Jackie, and prior to my mom’s passing, my Bishop once again prophesied that&nbsp;&nbsp;I was going to get everything I desired and it was going to come quickly!&nbsp; That’s exactly how it happened.&nbsp; Mr. Tippens asked me to marry him on Valentine's Weekend of 2024 and here we are!"
