Our Story
Eric and I first were introduced in 2019 in Tenessee while on a summer project with a college ministry. We became friends at school but it wasn't until the following year, his sophomore and my senior year, that we became closer friends.

COVID was difficult for many reasons, but looking back it brought not just me and Eric closer but many friends together through the ministry, Campus Outreach. We would often hangout at the staff house and made many fun memories there.

Throughout the year I worked at the rec center at Bradley, and somehow my shifts always matched up to Eric's workout schedule. Eric did the math and over the whole year, we spent over 24 hours talking at the desk where I worked.

One of my favorite last memories of senior year was spontaneously moving my dorm futon to Peoria's riverfront for a photoshoot.

We celebrated our friends Max and Kaylee's wedding in June, one of the last times I see Eric before I move to work in Madison, WI.

After I graduated from Bradley, I moved back to Madison, where I made many amazing friendships. Long story short, I decided to come on staff with Campus Outreach in Kalamazoo MI.

Eric and I stayed good friends since graduating. Eric asked me to be his girlfriend and it's a good thing I said yes because right after a barista stopped by to tell us how cute of a couple we were.

I made many trips to Peoria and Eric to Michigan as we navigated dating long distance.
