Miranda used to hate road trips...until she met Meg and learned just how fun they can be!
We appreciate all of you SO MUCH that are willing to make the trek up to the Wisconsin Northwoods. We created these mini road trip itineraries full of our favorite activities --whether you're flying into Minneapolis or Milwaukee.
These itineraries include some of our favorite activities and a few iconic stops to really give you the true Wisconsinite experience.
For those of you really wanting to commit? We'll share our very own Road Trip Playlist with you to really pump up the vibes.
Nobody should be surprised that the FIRST stop on this itinerary in America's Dairyland is a cheese-making facility. See how cheese is made, order some deep-fried cheese curds, or even ice cream! (Sorry to our lactose-free loved ones....)
We love "treasure hunting" on our road trips---so antique shops are a must!
For the geography nerds! (Which might be a solo group only Miranda is a part of...)
Pay a visit to the 45 x 90 Geographic Marker site. It's halfway between the Equator and the North pole, a quarter of the way around the planet, and halfway between Greenwich Meridian and the International Date Line.
Another antique mall----a necessity.
We love hiking & nature---stop for some fresh air, a hike, or just a selfie!
See the largest Hodag statue at the Rhinelander Visitor's Center!
The Hodag is Wisconsin's mythical creature, said to live in Wisconsin's Northwoods. The Hodag is a ferocious beast resembling a large bull-horned carnivore with a row of thick curved spines down its back, thick curved claws, sharp glistening teeth and an obnoxious odor when it exhales.
Let's hope he doesn't crash the wedding!
