Itinerary

It was one October day that we we're checking out the facebook dating scene as single individuals brought together by our smiles and faith. We often talk.. and sometimes joke about what made us have interest in each other over one selfie. Jonathan says my eyes, Miranda says my smile. One thing that we had in common more than the rest was we had both checked off the same box on the religious portion of the profile. Little did we know at the time that God had purposely brought us together.

Unfortunately we didn’t catch a selfie on our first date together, but it was filled with fun memories, conversation, and some good retail therapy :)

Beginnings at Bojangles

Jonathan Rey Castaneda

Born on August 10, 1992 in Bedford Texas to Maria and Johnny✟ Castaneda. I grew up mostly in Fort-Worth Texas attending Keller ISD up to my Senior year. Since the passing of my father Johnny when I was only 14 years old, a freshman in high school. Things got very shaky growing up as I moved to Littlefield Tx to graduate as a Wildcat in 2010. Shortly after I was blessed with a daughter who is now my 13-year-old teenager on May 13,2011. I praise GOD for giving me a loving and supporting family who has been at my side as a single father. I have graduated at the College of Healthcare of Professions with a certificate for LMRT. I decided to move to Amarillo to attend community college to pursue an Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine. Unfortunately, GOD had other plans as he moved me back to DFW in 2017. Since then, I have been working in Aviation since 2019 as a Detail Part inspector. Currently I am attending school at TCC to pursue an associate in applied science in Engineering, then after transfer to UTA (University of Texas at Arlington) to obtain a bachelor's in mechanical engineering. I am a BIG Star Wars fan! I am lucky to be married on May 4th! (MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU!). It didn't take long for me to know that the force was strong with Miranda! I enjoy board/card games, being part of my church and community, and Cooking! The one thing I love about Miranda is that she is so supportive and has been every step of the way. She been a blessing, and I don't know if there is enough gratitude I can give to God for sending me someone who I get to spend my life with.

Miranda Leigh Landry 

Born January 15th, 2001 in Plano Texas to Gloria Landry and Stephen Landry. My early childhood started in Richardson Texas just a hop and a skip over to Plano ISD where I grew up and graduated from Plano Senior High School. After graduating in 2019, I attended DBU for my freshman year shortly interrupted by COVID. I took a pause on school and continued to work my way through retail working at both Walmart and The Home Depot. As you all know life is not always easy, and sometimes it catches up to us and I am truly grateful and glad to have wonderful family and friends to support me. I made some mistakes down the road but they only helped me to realize how much I needed Jesus in my life. In December of 2022, God blessed me with a job in health care as home health caregiver. I went back to school at Collin College fall of 23' to obtain my CNA! I feel so blessed and can't wait to see what God's plan unfolds! I love taking walks with my eldest fur baby Buttercup, drinking coffee, reading, and enjoying whatever Jonathan cooks me lol! From the start, his heart shined through the way he cared for me. There are many things I love about him but one that stands out is how much he serves not only me, but others. He is the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back. He never fails to make me and those around him smile. I praise and thank God for sending me me a husband, a man who values me and also pushes me to be better. He is a blessing to me and an answer to my prayers.

Date Night and morning brunch were time for us to get to know each other even more. Even after marriage we continue to have date nights to keep our marriage strong.breakfast at IHOP, lunch at Sweetie Pies Ribeyes, dinner at Whiskey Cake, Delucca's, and fun at Painting with a twist and EVO Entertainment.

Faith-GOD-Family

One Love, One Family, One GOD! God kept us in unity on our fun trips, to church and family gatherings. Love put the puzzle pieces together and love created one family. WE DIED and were REBORN through water and faith as a family. ALL because of GOD. We praise him for being our CORNERSTONE!
