Our Wedding

The first time we met was at a party, I was 16 and he was 18. I didn’t know many people there and was nervous. Zach noticed how nervous I appeared and offered me a spot next to him. We often saw each other at mutual friends houses soon becoming acquaintances and then friends. Bennett, as many of his close friends called him, was very outgoing and flirty. Where as in high school I was more of the drama nerd. At age 20, I was living in Victoria, Zach was living in Quesnel. We started to talk more frequently sometimes every day for hours. I ended up moving back to Quesnel, and shortly after we became a couple on June 1, 2016. Soon after, I decided to move to Vancouver with my sister. I asked Zach his thoughts on the move and he decided to follow me and come along. Moving to a very small basement suit downtown Vancouver, he must have really loved me. At many times we were long distance as we were always moving all over BC. Despite the distance we would always make the time for each other. After four years, we both decided that I would move up north with him, where we found a place we loved in Taylor BC. We now have found some incredible friends and a great support group here! March 2024, in a beautiful mountain view penthouse Zach asked the big question! Placing a gorgeous ring inside a strawberry and giving it to me for breakfast. We are so excited to be getting married next year and so excited to share it with you!
