One day, after many disappointments in dating, Miranda decided to give an online dating app a try after her friend Virginia told her to. Less than a week later, Miranda matched with Stefan on Hinge. After some cautious conversations with the excitement building, the two decided to meet. Stefan told his roommate where he was going just in case Miranda was actually a murderer. Luckily for Stefan, Miranda was not (yet anyways). The pair started their relationship with the finest establishment Florence, SC has to offer, Apple Annie's. Unbeknownst to both of them (aka Miranda pretended not to know), many of Miranda’s coworkers also happened to be at Apple Annie’s that night and were overjoyed to also participate in the date. The date went well and Stefan headed back to Charleston intrigued by the prospect of getting to know Miranda. Not long after, a pandemic began, and the world shut down. Stefan, still in the Navy, wasn’t allowed to leave his house other than to go to work due to military restrictions. Stefan and Miranda continued seeing each other by facetime and eventually by Miranda driving to Charleston to see him on a routine basis, which was also not allowed by the military. (We’re past the statute of limitations now, it’s fine). Eventually, Stefan’s time in the military ended, and he decided to go to USC in Columbia to be closer to Miranda. Miranda eventually finished residency and got a job in Columbia. The two could finally live in the same city after 3 years of long distance dating. For now, they currently still live in Columbia with their 70 pound hurricane of a dog, Hazel.
