Cooper and Miranda met online in the spring of 2020 when they were freshmen in high school. Cooper lived in Grain Valley and Miranda lived in Kearney; about 40 miles apart. Their first face to face meeting was at a QuickTrip in Independence, halfway between their hometowns. That QuickTrip became their weekly meeting spot for the next year. They made it official on May 20, 2020; and the rest was history!

Some of their favorite memories together are the endless FaceTime calls, traveling, eating Mexican food, and the holidays. They both graduated high school early to get started on their careers. In January of 2023, Miranda moved in with Cooper and his family so that she could go to cosmetology school in Blue Springs while Cooper worked full time at his dad’s outdoor power equipment store.

On October 20, 2023, Cooper took Miranda out for a romantic dinner at Marina 27. After dinner they went for a drive to the back acres of his family’s property to “help his dad fix a tractor.” Miranda was surprised to find a plaid picnic blanket with a display of flowers on hay bails and twinkle lights hanging in the trees. Cooper got down on one knee as the song “A Life Where We Work Out” softly played in the background. Cooper asked Miranda to spend the rest of her life with him and as you all know, Miranda said YES!

Cooper and Miranda bought a house together in Oak Grove in March of 2024 and have been busy working, planning their wedding, and taking care of their adopted blue heeler, Bluey. They continue to support each other as Miranda builds her clientele at Salon and Spa C and Cooper lives his dream of being a firefighter.

Cooper and Miranda are so blessed to have such supportive family and friends and they are beyond excited for all of you to join them when they say “I do” on October 18, 2025. Let’s get ready to celebrate!
