Miranda's Side of the Story

I first met Adam at NDSU's graduate school orientation in August of 2019; I was starting my Master's degree, and he was starting his PhD. I still remember exactly what he was wearing: cowboy boots, jeans, t-shirt, and baseball cap. I was talking with another new PhD student about hunting when Adam started to join the conversation. I quickly found out that Adam recently got a GSP puppy, River, and was looking forward to taking him pheasant hunting. At the time, I wasn’t interested in a relationship, so I tried to set Adam up with my best friend and maid of honor, Steph. I tried ALL SEMESTER to get them together; (luckily) nothing ever came of their relationship other than friends. Sometime during the semester, Adam sneakily got my number (I was oblivious when he asked), and we started to talk more frequently. Fast forward to January 6th, 2020. Adam asked me if I wanted to come over to play with River. How could I say no? I went over to his apartment, and we started talking about anything and everything. Before we knew it, we had been up talking for hours. Adam ended up playing his guitar and singing for me (I think that is what won me over), and we still ‘argue’ to this day about who leaned in for the first kiss first (it was me). After that night, I knew immediately that Adam was the man I wanted in my life forever. I guess my intuition was right, because here we are: becoming Bradley! :)

Adam's Side of the Story

I met Miranda at NDSU graduate assistant orientation in fall 2019. I overheard her talking about bow hunting and figured she was a big time deer slayer (ask about her kill count). We talked about how deer hunting in North Dakota is like grocery shopping with a rifle from hundreds of yards away, whereas Iowans use shotguns like nature intended. Miranda and I had several grad classes together that fall, one of which had four total students. A few weeks into the semester I suggested we all exchange numbers so we could communicate about class - except I already had everyone's number besides Miranda's. I started sending Miranda occasional snapchats of River (my GSP puppy). She wanted to see him, so River and I went to meet her at an NDSU tailgate. Turns out, Miranda brought her friend (now maid of honor) along to try and set us up. Luckily, her wingwoman skills weren't very good. A couple of months and many River snapchats later, Miranda decided she wanted to see River again. It was right around my strict 9PM bedtime, but I decided to stay up a little later just this once. Next thing I knew it was 6AM and we had stayed up all night talking about life. Don't let her fool you about who kissed who first. The rest is history!

Sandager Park in Lisbon has an East and West Campground available for camping. The East campground has 10 sites with 20/30/50 amp power and nearby water and sewer dump. The West campground has 10 sites with full hookups (power/sewer/water). Reservations are required and can be booked online via the website.
