Our Wedding

Our love story began in January of 2017 when we were introduced through both of our best friends, who were dating at the time. It started out as a simple friendship that was nothing more than small talk. I can distinctly remember Valentine’s Day. I went to Anytime Fitness to use the tanning bed. It just so happened that Kolby was there too working out. He came up to me and asked what my plans were for the night. I replied, to go back to my apartment and watch One Tree Hill and eat Sonic. He then asked if I wanted company, which I thought was very weird since he just told me he ate Hardee’s for dinner an hour or so earlier. Kolby didn’t give up though! He suggested milkshakes instead, lol. We ended up not going, and did our own thing separately that night. Little did I know though, that would be our last Valentine’s Day spent apart.&nbsp; As Kolby and I kept tagging along with our friends and hanging out as a group, our relationship continued to grow. We talked, learned about one another, and most importantly laughed. Kolby always joked and said: Laughter is #1. To this day, most of our time is spent laughing with one another. With a great amount of anticipation, on October 15th, 2017 in St. Augustine, FL Kolby finally asked me to be his girlfriend. It is no coincidence that we will be getting married on our five year dating anniversary.&nbsp; Throughout the last five years, we have truly grown with one another and overcome many hardships. Kolby and I watched each other graduate college, relocate to new cities, and start new jobs. We even bought a puppy, and moved into our first home. It has been the best ride of our lives so far, and we cannot wait to see what the rest of our story looks like! Just like in 2017, October 15th cannot get here fast enough!&nbsp; #LewisAtLast
