Jeff and I met in December of&nbsp;2017 at a bar right here in Chicago. Jeff was celebrating the holidays&nbsp;with coworkers while&nbsp;I was catching up with Hannah, my maid of honor.&nbsp; In order to get Hannah and I&nbsp;to come to his&nbsp;table, Jeff came up with an elaborate plan of 'accidentally'&nbsp;ordering a few too many drinks for himself and&nbsp;his coworkers.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lucky for him, the plan&nbsp;worked. The rest of our night was spent playing pool, singing at piano bars and exploring local pubs.&nbsp;

Jeff and I didn't cross paths again until early January when we both arrived back in the city after the holidays. He called me to see how the first day of my new job had gone. &nbsp;Jeff&nbsp;asked if we could get dinner&nbsp;to celebrate my day and the rest is history.&nbsp;









If you would ask Jeff or I today, we would both say that that dinner started it all&nbsp;and&nbsp;we have been inseparable ever since!

The Night We Met

We love to go on vacation, especially to the beach! Each year we try to plan a week on a&nbsp;tropical island in order to get away from the crazy city lifestyle. Last year, we took our trip to Saint Martin. Not soon after checking into our&nbsp;tiny&nbsp;french hotel, Jeff popped the question with a beautiful turquoise&nbsp;ocean backdrop. The week started off with champagne and a beautiful new ring and ended with lots of snorkling and 4x4 rides!

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Unplugged ceremony: We invite you to be fully present. Please turn off your devices during our big moment.

Is there parking at the ceremony or reception?

There will be valet parking at the Embassy Suites attached to the venue for $16/car. We do suggest using Uber, Lyft, or taxis services.
