In March of 2022, Miranda was swiping on Hinge and a gray and white cat next to a bearded guy caught her eye, so she swiped right. Not long after, TJ responded back, impressed with Miranda's recent travel photos.

They had their first date on March 25, 2022 at Four Peaks, and the following week Miranda was introduced to that gray and white cat, Robby. They spent nearly all of their free time together cooking, hiking, going to concerts, and traveling. They bonded over their shared taste in music, Disney, and cats.

TJ made things official May 15th, 2022 on a camping trip to Prescott. Miranda was finally asked to play a board game, Stone Age, in the summer of 2022. TJ did not let her win. In January of 2023, Miranda adopted her first cat, Hoagie. He and Robby grew to have the perfect annoying but lovable brother dynamic.

On June 1st 2023, Our Robert crossed over the rainbow bridge unexpectedly. This tragedy brought them even closer in their next chapter of moving in together, Hoagie in tow.

The following month, they were headed north for a camping weekend, but a tanker engine crash on a lone road with no detour sent them back home and right to the pet shelter. Smoky, named after TJs childhood vacation spot, joined their family on July 9, 2023, and has been Hoagie's faithful zoomie companion ever since.

On May 31st, 2024, TJ popped the question just as they were headed out the door for their summer trip back east.

When deciding on their wedding venue, they knew it had to be somewhere their guests could experience the charm of the desert and mountains. There is no better place for that than The Superstition Mountains and the Tonto National Forest.

To date, they have been to 13 states, 2 other countries, and 24 concerts together.

Miranda, TJ, Hoagie, and Smoky live in Gilbert, AZ and spend their free time crocheting, gaming, chasing pompoms, and eating Churus.
