36 Days To Go!

Josh's version:

A tale as old as time. A man at the grocery store looking for some cantaloupe and a woman looking for eggplant.

This beautiful woman asked me if I could get some cumin off the top shelf, and being the tall handsome man I couldn't say no. I had to get her number.

Missy's version:

Josh had completely given up on love. He was surfing the internet one day, and decided to download Hinge, the dating app. It's fuzzy as to who made the first move, but when you look at us together it clearly had to be Josh.

In the meantime I had also set up my Hinge profile one night, with my friend Jess.

Life hinges on the choices we make, I guess doesn't it?

I tried my best in the first few days of conversation to get Josh to meet. The first for ice cream, to which he declined, because he was already in bed at 8 pm. Josh was sure that he had lost his chance forever that night and I was sure that he just wasn't that into me. To be fair, Josh had already planned a date for later in the week at Fig Leaf Brewery.

I arrived early to the first date to select our seats. I sat where I could watch him walk in the door and see him walk in, and boy, did he make an entrance. His smile when he walked in the door was instantly calming to all of my nerves and as he walked across the room and started the date with that same smile and huge Josh hug.

We started to eat pizza and he assured me that he doesn't talk when he eats because he likes to just eat, however we never stopped talking. He looked so handsome in his Hawaiian shirt and neither of us stopped smiling all night long. We ended the night with a hug and went our separate ways... or so we thought.

Once we both got home, I sent Josh a message telling him that I would have let him kiss me, and that I would anxiously be awaiting our next date to wait for it. Josh told me that we weren't waiting and we arranged our second date right then for ice cream at UDF.

I called him the next day to meet my friends Angie and Glen at Heather's and there have not been many days since we met that night that we haven't been together. For 10 minutes for a walk, for 5 minutes for ice cream at UDF, or one of our trips.

We've traveled quite a few places in a short time together, which is something we both love to do but when we were in Phoenix for New Years, Josh asked me to marry him, of course I said yes, and here were are.

We are so excited and looking forward to starting our lives together by celebrating with all of our friends and family that have been there along the way.
